Job summary

HP Recruitment is seeking experienced Field Service Technicians to support major Data Centre and Critical Infrastructure projects across Sydney & Melbourne. You’ll work on HVAC, refrigeration, chilled water systems, and specialist cooling equipment, gaining exposure to commissioning and major projects.

You do not need prior Data Centre experience; a solid background in HVAC, refrigeration, chilled water or cooling systems will be trained on the specialist equipment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or refrigeration trade background with Refrigerant Handling Licence and ideally a Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault finding skills across chillers, controls, BMS and related cooling equipment.
• Comfortable working independently and expanding knowledge across specialist cooling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain HVAC, precision cooling and industrial chiller systems across Data Centre sites.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance, including electrical and mechanical fault finding across refrigeration systems and chilled water plant.
• Assist with equipment start-up, functional testing, BMS integration, commissioning and handover when required.
