Job summary

Morton Engineering Group in Brisbane seeks an experienced Industrial Blaster (Sandblaster) for immediate start at our Lytton workshop. This casual role offers 40 hours per week with a view to permanent full-time employment.

Job description

Morton Engineering are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Blaster (Sandblaster) to commence immediately at our workshop facility located at Lytton, Brisbane on a casual basis, 40hrs a week with a view to transitioning to Permanent Full Time.

Working to exact industry and company standards, we produce high-quality work in our safety conscious, modern, well equipped workshop facility that offers good working conditions in a friendly environment.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Previous experience in abrasive blasting of structural steel products.
• Demonstrated experience with various hand and power tools.
• A level of workmanship that exceeds the highest quality standards.

Desirable skills and qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with Airless spraying and a variety of coating types.
• High Risk Work Licence – Work Platform, Confined Space, Forklift, Dogging and Rigging.

You will need to have your own transport as there is limited public transport nearby.

Remuneration will be commensurate to skills and experience (Please note – we work a standard 40 hour week Monday to Friday with occasional overtime pending workload).
