D & T Hydraulics & Engineering is a local family owned cylinder repair and manufacturing business. We require a motivated Sandblaster to join our team in Mackay region, Australia.

The successful applicant must have Sandblasting experience and be capable of maintaining blasting equipment, with a strong work ethic and reliable transport. We offer competitive rates and a stable full-time position in a modern workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a sandblaster.
• Knowledge of maintaining and cleaning blasting equipment.
• Spraypainter experience is highly regarded.
• Good knowledge of paint products.
• Adhere to Quality and Safety Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Have previous experience as a Sandblaster.
• Maintain and clean blasting equipment.
• Follow instructions and meet time and quality constraints.
• Adhere to the company's Quality and Safety Management Systems.
• Possess a valid Driver's Licence and own transport.
• Desirable: High Risk Work Licence - Forklift.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The successful applicant MUST:-

• Have previous experience as a Sandblaster;
• Knowledge on how to maintain and clean blasting equipment;
• Previous experience as a Spraypainter highly regarded;
• Have good paint product knowledge;
• Achieve specifications within established time and quality constraints;
• Adhere to the company's Quality and Safety Management Systems;
• Be able to follow instructions;
• Have a High Risk Work Licence - Forklift (Desirable)
• Have a current drivers licence and own transport
• Have a strong work ethic.
