Job summary

Conquest Recruitment Group Pty Ltd in Adelaide, SA, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow long-term service and maintenance business across industrial products in your territory - SA / NT. This refreshed role focuses on long-term service agreements, with roughly 70% new business and 30% account growth.

You will identify opportunities, roll out service programs, sign contracts, build key accounts, and report to management.

Qualifications

• Prior business development experience with a hunter mindset.
• Solution-selling background and ability to build a commercial case.
• Self-starter with autonomy in a remote/field-based role, regular office presence to meet ops team.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills; PC literate (SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel across the territory as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new service and maintenance opportunities using our client's product range and service capability.
• Roll out service and spares programs, signing new service contracts and converting customers onto long-term maintenance plans.
• Build and manage key accounts, proactively targeting additional service work with local service managers.
• Gain customer feedback to drive satisfaction and retention, in line with the company's targets.
• Provide regular reporting to management and support Customer Service Managers, Sales Specialists and internal teams.
