Job summary

Accenture Australia is seeking an experienced Supply and Engineering Data & AI Solution Architect to shape and deliver AI solutions for asset-intensive clients. You will lead architectural design from discovery to delivery, combining agentic and classical AI methods with optimization and operations research.

You will communicate effectively with C-suite audiences, mentor multidisciplinary teams, and drive post-go-live governance and operating models for sustained value across industries such as

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in industry, consulting, or enterprise delivery in asset-intensive environments.
• 4+ years designing and delivering enterprise AI solutions across agentic and classical AI/ML.
• 3+ years in agentic, LLM, and generative AI, with orchestration patterns and human-in-the-loop design.
• 3+ years combining AI with optimization, OR or ML for decision systems.
• Deep domain fluency in mining, oil&gas, utilities, chemicals, or capital projects.
• 4+ years hands-on technical experience (e.g., Python) to validate architecture decisions.
• Proven client-facing leadership in discovery, deep-dives, and executive conversations.
• Experience taking AI solutions from pilot to scaled deployment, including operating model and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, executive briefings, and technical deep-dives across audiences.
• Translate business strategy into a technical vision with measurable outcomes.
• Architect end-to-end data and AI platforms spanning cloud to OT environments.
• Define requirements for performance, reliability, auditability, safety, and cost.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and contribute to reusable reference architectures.
• Drive build-vs-buy decisions and technology selection for AI platforms.
