Job summary

The Indigenous Player Development Manager at Sydney Swans will support holistic development, social and emotional wellbeing, and cultural identity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players across AFL, AFLW and Academy programs.

You will build confidential relationships with players and their networks, coordinate tailored development plans, and work with coaches, wellbeing, medical, and football operations teams to create a culturally safe environment where players can perform, grow, and

Qualifications

• Experience in player development, athlete wellbeing, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and wellbeing.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with players and support networks.

Responsibilities

• Support holistic development, wellbeing, and cultural identity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players across AFL, AFLW and Academy programs.
• Coordinate tailored development plans across personal growth, education, career, life skills and cultural connection.
