Job summary

Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd invites applications for a Trainer and Assessor to deliver and develop accredited training for VET programs run in partnership with Registered Training Organisations. The role focuses on culturally responsive delivery and assessment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in South East Queensland.

You will develop contextualised materials, craft session plans, and work with the Organisational Development team to update tools for the Student

Qualifications

• Current Criminal History Check.
• Current Working with Children’s Check (Qld Blue Card).
• Current Disability Worker Screening Check (Qld Yellow Card).
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
• Current First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess culturally responsive training across relevant Health and Community Services packages.
• Write or adapt training curriculum contextualised for SE QLD Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Services.
• Develop contextualised training materials with session plans to support program requirements.
• Participate in sustainable training and monitoring practices.
• Collaborate with Organisational Development to design, update tools for the Student Journey.
