Job summary

Pinangba, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led service arm of UnitingCare Queensland, provides residential healing services at Cape York Family Centre in Far North Queensland. We are seeking a Case Worker to manage a client caseload and deliver high-quality care and support to residents.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, advocate for clients with external agencies, and collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial drug & alcohol assessments.
• Develop treatment plans and support clients' individual needs.
• Provide advocacy and support for clients with external agencies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for service improvements.
• Plan, conduct and facilitate in-service training for staff.
