Job summary

The Wilin Centre at the University of Melbourne seeks a capable leader to drive operational and administrative excellence for Indigenous arts and cultural development. You will oversee programs, events, budgets and staff with a focus on culturally safe student support.

In this continuing, full-time role, you will coordinate across the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music, building partnerships and leading a cohesive team dedicated to cultural change and community impact.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and substantial experience in administration, coordination or operations.
• Experience leading teams and managing operational processes in a formal organisation.
• Ability to budget, plan and oversee events and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational planning, processes and systems for Wilin Centre programs.
• Manage, coach and motivate professional staff to foster high performance.
• Coordinate student-facing services, grants and bursaries with timely, culturally safe support.
• Oversee budgets, HR processes and financial systems for Wilin programs and casual staff.
• Lead planning and administration of Wilin events, partnerships and communications.
