Responsibilities:

  • Chair statutory Child in Care Reviews in person.
  • Monitor ongoing progress of children’s care plans and pathway plans diligently.
  • Identify areas where there is drift and delay in achieving permanence for children, and escalate issues per CCC’s Escalation Policy protocols.
  • Visit children outside of reviews to ensure their well-being and progress.
  • Travel to children at their care placements, with 50% residing outside of Cambridgeshire.
