Job summary

Juniper, a leading not-for-profit aged care provider in Western Australia, is seeking caring and reliable Community Support Workers to join our Home and Community Care team across Perth’s northern suburbs, including Hamersley, Girrawheen and Marangaroo.

In this role you will support older Western Australians to remain living independently in their own homes, assisting with personal care, daily living activities, and social support.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle.
• Experience providing personal care in aged care or community care.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication to the team.
• Commitment to helping older people live independently.
• Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care.
• Dementia care experience and First Aid qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing and continence support.
• Assist customers with activities of daily living.
• Support with medication administration (training provided).
• Assist with domestic tasks including meal preparation and household support.
• Provide social support including transport to appointments or shopping.
• Follow and document care in accordance with care plans.
