Job summary

Juniper is seeking compassionate and reliable Community Support Workers to join our Home and Community Care team in Bremer Bay and surrounding areas. In this role, you will support older Western Australians to remain living independently at home, assisting with personal care, daily living activities and social support.

This casual position requires availability Monday to Thursday 0900-1400, a current Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle, plus Certificate III in Aged Care and

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
• Previous experience providing personal care in aged care or community care
• Ability to work independently in the community while maintaining communication with the team
• A genuine commitment to supporting older people to live independently
• Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care
• Dementia care experience
• Current First Aid Certificate

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing and continence support
• Assist customers with activities of daily living
• Support customers with medication administration (training provided)
• Assist with domestic tasks, including meal preparation and household support
• Provide social support, including transport to appointments or community activities
• Follow and document care in accordance with individual care plans
