Orelia Primary School, part of the Department of Education, Western Australia, is seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed-term, full-time and part-time vacancies arising during the 2027 school year.

As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will support delivery of educational programs, help students develop academic, social, emotional and physical skills, and contribute to evaluating individual goals in an inclusive learning environment.

Formación

• Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and ADHD.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and students.
• Understanding of individual student needs and inclusive education principles.

Responsabilidades

• Support delivery of educational programs under teacher direction.
• Assist students in developing academic, social, emotional and physical skills.
• Provide feedback on educational and therapy programs and contribute to student goals evaluation.
