Job summary

Ambarvale High School in the Sydney region is seeking a Teacher Learning and Support to join our Teaching Service. The role focuses on providing inclusive education, supporting students with learning needs in regular classes, and collaborating with teachers to plan targeted interventions.

With a base salary from 92,882 to 141,997 AUD per year plus leave loading and employer's superannuation contributions, the total remuneration can reach up to 160,942 AUD.

Qualifications

• Approval to teach students with learning and support needs secondary and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs secondary in regular classes.
• Capacity to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needed and their teachers.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of inclusive education principles, differentiated pedagogy, and evidence-informed intervention approaches across literacy, numeracy, and prosocial behavioural domains.
• Demonstrated ability to identify student learning needs through diagnostic and assessment data, and to design, implement and monitor individual learning plans and personalised learning pathways that improve student outcomes.
