Job summary

Marayong South Public School in Sydney region is seeking a School Learning Support Officer (SLSO) for a full-time, ongoing role. You will assist students with identified learning needs in classrooms and other spaces under teacher supervision, including welfare, health and wellbeing activities.

The role requires a Working with Children Check, mandatory training, and willingness to undertake first aid training.

Qualifications

• Working with Children Check Clearance.
• Willingness to undertake first aid training relevant to the role.
• Administration of Medications – training provided.
• Health support training provided based on student needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for students with identified diverse learning needs in classrooms and learning environments under teacher supervision.
• Support student welfare, health and wellbeing activities as required.
• Assist in streams/settings such as preschool, vision support, hearing support, and bilingual.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to achieve educational outcomes.
