Job summary

You will support student welfare, health and wellbeing activities under the direction of a teacher, with duties across streams such as pre-school, vision, hearing and bilingual settings.

Qualifications

• Working with Children Check clearance required.
• Completion of mandatory Department of Education training.
• Willingness to undertake first aid training.
• Medication administration training provided.
• Health support training provided.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work with students with disabilities.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support students with identified diverse learning needs in classrooms and other learning environments under a teacher's direction.
• Provide student welfare, health and wellbeing activities as required.
• Support streams/settings: pre-school, vision, hearing, and bilingual programs.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to achieve educational outcomes.
