Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre in New South Wales is seeking an Inclusion Support Educator to join our Dharruk team. You will collaborate with educators, families and external professionals to create an inclusive learning environment where every child can participate, learn and thrive.

You will adapt learning experiences and environments to meet diverse needs, support independence and wellbeing, and contribute to observations, planning and documentation that support inclusive outcomes.

Qualifications

• An understanding of inclusive practice, child development and safeguarding.
• Knowledge or experience supporting children with additional needs is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support inclusive practices that encourage participation and engagement for all children.
• Adapt learning experiences, environments and resources to meet children's diverse needs.
• Work collaboratively with educators, families and external professionals to implement inclusion strategies.
• Support children's independence, wellbeing, positive behaviour and participation.
• Contribute to observations, documentation and planning that support inclusive learning outcomes.
• Promote a safe, respectful and child-safe environment where every child feels they belong.
