Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre in New South Wales is seeking an Inclusion Support Educator to join our Seven Hills team. You will work with educators, families, and external professionals to create an inclusive learning environment where every child can participate, learn and thrive.

The role emphasizes adapting learning experiences and environments, promoting children's independence and wellbeing, and contributing to planning and observations.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
• Strong understanding of inclusive practice, child development and safeguarding.
• Experience or knowledge supporting children with additional needs is highly regarded.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR and National Mandatory Child Protection certificates.
• Commitment to child safety, inclusion and equitable opportunities for every child.

Responsibilities

• Support inclusive practices that encourage participation and engagement for all children.
• Adapt learning experiences, environments and resources to meet diverse needs.
• Collaborate with educators, families and external professionals on inclusion strategies.
• Support children's independence, wellbeing and positive behaviour.
• Contribute to observations, documentation and planning to support inclusive learning outcomes.
• Promote a safe, respectful and child-safe environment where all children belong.
