Hunter Valley Grammar School in Maitland, NSW, seeks a passionate Assistant Educator - Disability and Inclusion (Certificate III) to join our Early Learning Centre on a full-time, permanent basis commencing 22 January 2027. The role involves delivering education and care aligned with our philosophy, policies and the National Quality Framework.

Collaborating with the Educational Leader, Nominated Supervisor and other professionals, you will help develop high-quality, inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Hold an ACECQA approved Certificate III level qualification.
• Current Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance is required.
• Knowledge of National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework (V2.0).
• Ability to relate effectively with children and their families.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ICT proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain child safety and protection at all times.
• Keep First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications up to date.
• Support an inclusive environment and high-quality education for enrolled children.
• Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios at all times.
• Collaborate with Educational Leader, Nominated Supervisor and other staff to implement curriculum.
