Job summary

KAL Child Care & Development Centres Currumbin is seeking an Inclusion Support Educator for a part-time position at Currumbin Village Early Learning. The role focuses on lowering room ratios, engaging children in small groups, and delivering quality care while building strong relationships with children and families.

Open Monday to Friday from 6:45 am to 6:15 pm, with support from a hands-on leadership team and ongoing in-house professional development.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Experience in an early childhood setting is required.
• First Aid and CPR certifications, or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
• Valid Working with Children Check (Queensland Blue Card).
• Completed Child Protection training.
• Availability to work 5 days per week, including open, close and lunch coverage shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support educators by helping lower the room ratio.
• Engage children in smaller groups through inviting, enjoyable experiences.
• Help provide quality care for all children across the room.
• Build warm, meaningful relationships with children as part of their day.
• Work alongside educators and families in our close-knit centre community.
