Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre in New South Wales is seeking an Inclusion Support Educator to join our Dharruk team. You will work with educators, families and external professionals to foster inclusive learning and support children's participation, wellbeing and development.

Key requirements include ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards), understanding of inclusive practice and safeguarding, NSW WWCC, and current First

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
• An understanding of inclusive practice, child development and safeguarding.
• Knowledge or experience supporting children with additional needs is highly regarded.
• Current NSW Employee Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR and National Mandatory Child Protection certificates.
• A genuine commitment to child safety, inclusion and equitable opportunities for every child.

Responsibilities

• Support inclusive practices that encourage participation and engagement for all children.
• Adapt learning experiences, environments and resources to meet children's diverse needs.
• Work collaboratively with educators, families and external professionals to implement inclusion strategies.
• Support children's independence, wellbeing, positive behaviour and participation.
• Contribute to observations, documentation and planning that support inclusive learning outcomes.
• Promote a safe, respectful and child-safe environment where every child feels they belong.
