Hardware & General on the Northern Beaches is seeking a casual Retail Assistant to join our RDC and Taps team. You’ll help customers, learn about bathroom and renovation products, and assist in showroom presentation.

The role supports a consistent roster, training and a positive team environment, with availability required on a rotating two-week schedule including every second Saturday.

Formación

• Retail or customer service experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and assist with product selection.
• Full Australian working rights without restrictions.

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a reliable, customer-focused team player to join our Renovators Discount Centre (RDC) and Taps team.

This casual role suits someone who enjoys helping customers, learning about products and working as part of a team. Retail, sales or trade experience is an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

Current Roster-

Subject to change and agreement with the manager.

Week One: Monday and Tuesday, 7:30am–5:00pm

Week Two: Monday and Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, and Saturday, 8:00am–4:00pm.

The roster repeats every two weeks. Availability every second Saturday is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting customers with product selection and sales
• Learning about bathroom, tapware and renovation products
• Processing sales and preparing quotes
• Maintaining stock and showroom presentation
• Supporting great customer service

What We’re Looking For

• Retail, sales or customer service experience an advantage
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
