Job summary

TheirCare Plus is a registered NDIS provider delivering inclusive programs for children and young people with complex disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated support worker for a specialist school environment, with shifts during mornings, afternoons, and school holidays.

Join a values-driven team focused on safeguarding, person-centred active support and collaboration with families. Immediate start available, with competitive hourly pay up to $49 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability services, education, or a related human services field.
• Strong understanding of person-centred active support and inclusive practice.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safeguarding and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised and group-based support for children and young people with complex disability needs.
• Implement engaging, developmentally appropriate programs aligned with participants' NDIS goals.
• Maintain a high level of supervision and ensure safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Work in a collaborative team environment within staff-to-participant ratio.
• Support daily routines, transitions and positive behaviour strategies.
• Complete documentation and reporting in line with NDIS and internal quality requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and reflective practice.
