Job summary

Woollahra Council is seeking a qualified solicitor to join our in-house Legal Services Unit on a permanent full-time basis. You will manage day-to-day legal matters under supervision and provide a high level of service to the community and staff.

The role emphasizes clear communication, timely advice across planning, contracts, privacy and governance, and a strong commitment to customer experience. We offer a fortnightly RDO and a hybrid workplace with the option to work from home up to two days

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of legal matters under supervision by Senior Solicitor and General Counsel.
• Provide high-level customer service to community and staff.
• Advising across planning, privacy, tendering, property, contracts, information access, governance and environmental compliance.
