About the Position

As an in-house Conflicts Solicitor, you will be part of the firm’s legal team, reporting to the Head of Conflicts. You will collaborate with Conflict Lawyers in Sydney and handle varied, complex work in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a unique insight into the operations of a global billion-dollar business and its clients.

Duties

  • Advise on the resolution of complex legal and commercial conflicts, including setting up information barriers of varying complexity.
  • Ensure compliance with global sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
  • Review and draft conflict provisions in the firm’s documentation.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with:

  • At least 3 years PQE gained in a top-tier, international, national, or mid-tier firm. Candidates from large defendant insurance firms will also be considered.
  • No prior conflicts experience is necessary, as training will be provided. Candidates from any area of law are welcome.
