Job summary

Ozcare is seeking permanent part-time In Home Support Workers- Domestic Cleaners to support clients in the Brisbane South region. You will provide care in line with personalised care plans, undertake domestic duties, meals, laundry and shopping, and assist with transport, working as part of a holistic care team.

No formal qualifications are required; a reliable vehicle, current licence, and vaccination willingness are preferred.

Job description

Ozcare has permanent part-time opportunities available for In Home Support Workers- Domestic Cleaners supporting our clients in the Brisbane South region.

Your Role

As an In Home Support Worker you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Undertake domestic duties which includes cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
• Provide support duties such as shopping, transport etc
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our residents' care

Role Requirements

• NO QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance
• Vehicle must be safe, well-maintained, and suitably accessible to support clients with varying mobility needs to enter and exit comfortably.
• Current Police Screening Certificate (valid within past 3 years)
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
• Current Queensland driver's licence
• Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
• Good computer & mobile device skills
