Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking caring individuals to support elderly clients in their homes. This role focuses on domestic tasks and basic personal care, with training provided and travel required for onboarding. You will work to help clients live independently, while building trust and companionship.

Qualifications

• Live in or near Queanbeyan and Goulburn NSW
• Open to candidates with 3 months domestic experience
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start; travel is required for training
• This is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home

Responsibilities

• Entry-Level Carers: Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Experienced Carers: Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
• Most importantly: be a friendly face & brighten someone's day!
