Job summary

Homewell in Melbourne’s northern and western suburbs is seeking an experienced support worker to join our growing care team in St Albans and surrounds. The role covers weekdays, with multiple shifts available.

You will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, transport, and domestic assistance while upholding person-centered care and respecting boundaries. We welcome compassionate, reliable individuals with Cert III or IV in Aged Care or Disability and current checks;

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills essential for building trusting relationships with clients and families.
• Compassionate, people-focused approach with reliable, empathetic bedside manner.
• Medication training is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Make clients feel safe, heard and respected.
• Provide transport and community access to activities and appointments.
• Provide domestic assistance as needed.
