Job summary

HammondCare is seeking caring in-home carers to support older adults in their own homes across the North Shore region. You will travel to client homes using your own car, providing personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation and medication assistance.

Applicants should have a valid driving licence, access to an insured car, and ideally a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. Training is provided, and flexible hours are available to match client needs.

Qualifications

• You are patient, compassionate and solutions-focused.
• Valid Driver's License and access to own insured car (minimum third party property).
• Flexible to meet changing needs of home care clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (showering and dressing).
• Help around the home with meal prep and light cleaning.
• Provide transportation to appointments and assist with shopping.
• Assist with medication management.
