Future Supports and Support in Your Home are seeking compassionate In Home Aged Care Support Workers and Personal Carers to support elderly clients in Sale, Victoria. This casual, temporary role helps maintain clients’ independence in their own homes with personalised care and support.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, monitor health, and communicate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, in-home care.

Formación

• Empathy and genuine interest in elderly care.
• Experience in aged care or related field preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and caring environment.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health and well-being.
• Assist with mobility and physical activities, ensuring clients remain active and engaged.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
