Job summary

The Child Development Service within WA Health is seeking experienced Speech Pathologists to join our team in the Perth metropolitan area. This is a recruitment pool for fixed term full-time and part-time appointments, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Successful applicants will manage their own caseload, provide evidence-based Speech Pathology services, educate clients and carers on post-discharge management, and participate in CPD to maintain SPA certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Speech Pathologist providing evidence-based services.
• Ability to prioritise and manage own caseload.
• Commitment to ongoing CPD and SPA membership.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based Speech Pathology services to clients in the Child Development Service.
• Prioritise and coordinate your own caseload, including clinical reviews and case conferences.
• Educate clients and carers on post-discharge management and organise referrals as needed.
• Engage in continuing professional development to maintain SPA eligibility.
