Job summary

Endeavour Foundation in Tewantin is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join a permanent roster for sleepovers at our SIL home. You will assist people with disabilities to live as independently as possible and help them achieve daily living goals.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant qualification, be willing to undergo checks, and work across varied shifts including sleepovers. A supportive, inclusive team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
• Availability for permanent roster including multiple sleepovers and varied shifts.
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid/CPR and driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Help people achieve NDIS goals by developing daily living skills (housekeeping, personal care, social skills, budgeting).
• Assist with personal care as required to meet individual needs.
• Support meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and community connection.
• Provide support during daily activities and accompany to appointments or outings.
• Maintain connections with family, friends and services.
