Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a correctional environment.
• Experience in welfare, employment or housing is advantageous.
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prisoner programs and support services, including intake and orientation.
• Assist prisoners to access programs, activities and welfare support.
• Complete administration, maintain records and manage program information.
• Support staff with prisoner referrals, welfare requests and daily program activities.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to encourage program participation and support successful community transition.
