Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Optometry required.
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Membership with Optometry Australia.
• Medicare Provider Registration.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations in line with AHPRA and Optometry Australia guidelines.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and systemic conditions, making referrals where appropriate.
• Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Respond to patient inquiries and concerns professionally and effectively.
• Participate in clinical safety, quality, and education initiatives.
• Maintain and calibrate clinical equipment and optometry tools.
• Support practice operations, including Medicare reconciliation and inventory management.
• Contribute to team performance, customer retention, and growth objectives.
• Stay up to date with industry developments and best-practice optometry standards.
