Job summary

Canberra Health Services invites applications for a Health Professional Level 3 (Social Worker) in Adult Inpatient Mental Health Services. The role delivers social work assessments and therapeutic interventions across The Canberra Hospital's units, within a multidisciplinary team.

You will collaborate with consumers, carers and partner services to support recovery, independence and meaningful outcomes, contribute to governance and service improvement, and mentor junior staff and students.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering social work assessments and therapeutic interventions in mental health.
• Ability to collaborate with consumers, carers, families and partner services.
• Strong communication, advocacy and relationship-building skills.
• Prior to commencing this role, registration under Working with Vulnerable People Act is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality social work assessments and therapeutic interventions for inpatients.
