Job summary

The Department of Justice in Western Australia is seeking an Information Release Support Officer on a fixed-term, full-time basis for 6 months, with the possibility of extension for a further 6 months and/or permanency.

The role sits within the Knowledge Information & Technology Directorate and supports the Information Release Branch in managing information under legislation including the Freedom of Information Act 1992 and the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand the broader strategy of the KIT Directorate and apply it to day-to-day tasks.
• Ability to self-organise, prioritise work and maintain accurate records/files.
• Capacity to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, ethical conduct and willingness to engage with risk.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience providing administrative support in an office environment.
