Job summary

Macedon Ranges Health (supported by Benetas) is seeking a Grade 2 Exercise Physiologist to join our Allied Health team in Gisborne. This is a 12-month, part-time position (0.6 FTE across Mon-Wed, 8.30am–4.30pm) with some flexibility.

You will assess, treat and rehabilitate across clinic and community settings, managing your own caseload with support from a multidisciplinary team. The role is in a not-for-profit environment with a modern clinic and onsite gym.

Qualifications

• Current registration with ESSA.
• Grade 2 experience.
• Complete comprehensive Exercise Physiology assessments.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills.
• Collaborative and person-centred approach.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
• A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.
• An NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage musculoskeletal, neurological, chronic health and age-related conditions.
• Develop individualised treatment plans aligned with client needs and goals.
• Develop and deliver safe, evidence-based individualised and group exercise programs, in clinic and home settings.
• Provide individual consultations and facilitate selected group programs.
• Support clients to improve mobility, independence and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues, families and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
