Job summary

Benetas and Macedon Ranges Health are seeking a Community Physiotherapist in Gisborne to join our Allied Health team. The role will support clients across clinic and community settings, with autonomy to manage a caseload while receiving multidisciplinary support.

The successful candidate will be a Grade 2 Physiotherapist or an experienced Grade 1 ready to progress, with a commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with AHPRA and eligible to practise.
• Grade 2 experience, or solid Grade 1 with readiness to progress.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills.
• Collaborative, person-centred approach to care.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management abilities.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
• Valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of musculoskeletal, neurological, chronic health and age-related conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs and goals.
• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in clinic and home settings.
• Provide individual consultations and facilitate selected group programs.
• Support clients to improve their mobility, independence and overall wellbeing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues, families and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
