Job summary

KKTC Education is seeking a dedicated RTO Early Childhood Trainer and Assessor to mentor trainees in centre-based settings. You will conduct on-the-job assessments, run study groups, and provide one-on-one consultations to ensure monthly unit completion and high student performance.

You will maintain records, deliver training per KKTC policies and ASQA standards, and visit centres to generate new training opportunities. Ongoing PD and compliance are required.

Qualifications

• ECEC qualification required.
• TAE Certificate IV is required.
• Blue Card or Working with Children Check is mandatory.
• CHCPRT025 completed.
• HLTAID012 and HLTAID009 certifications must be current.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of units to enable course completion within required timeframes.
• Support students in completing units with competency to KKTC standards.
• Maintain weekly updates of student records in the database.
• Deliver training in accordance with KKTC Policies and ASQA standards.
• Mentor students to achieve practical knowledge of each unit.
• Report concerns or grievances to management.
• Complete monthly administrative submissions with required signatures and dates.
• Use Cloud Assess for assessments and timely processing of forms.
• Maintain regular contact with students (at least one visit per month).
• Provide feedback on completed assessments within 7 days of submission.
• Engage with centres to deliver better training outcomes.
• Process new enrolments and return documentation to administration within 14 days.
• Review progression reports and take action on underperforming students.
• Undertake professional development and keep industry currency.
• Keep Trainer Matrix updated and provide updated copies at least every 6 months.
• Attend scheduled Trainers Meetings and sector team meetings.
