Job summary

Tradewind Australia is seeking an Early Years Specialist to support children with developmental delays or disabilities and their families through early intervention approaches in Campbelltown, NSW.

The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver home, childcare and community-based supports, focusing on strengths-based, family-centred care and documentation that aligns with NDIS requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Teaching or Social Work.
• Experience with children with developmental delay or disability and families.
• Ability to complete assessments, reports and documentation to a high standard.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to work across home and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strengths-based early childhood intervention supports in line with program guidelines.
• Conduct functional assessments, developmental screening and observations.
• Engage with families as partners to set goals based on their priorities.
• Build capacity of families, carers and professionals to support children in everyday environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with NDIS requirements.
• Support families to access and implement NDIS plans where applicable.
• Facilitate parent education programs, playgroups or group-based supports where required.
