Job summary

NSW Department of Education seeks a School Psychologist based at Leeton High School to deliver counselling and psychological assessments for primary and high school students. The role supports teachers, families and school communities to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes through evidence-based interventions.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, receive supervision, and participate in ongoing professional development while contributing to Aboriginal Education and inclusion

Qualifications

• Counselling and psychological assessment of students, individually and in groups.
• Engages with the Professional Practice Framework for the NSW School Counselling Service.
• Collaborates with school staff and external services to support student wellbeing.

• Conduct cognitive, social, emotional and behavioural assessments and report results.
