Job summary

NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) invites applications for two temporary Full-time Community Engagement Officers. These roles contribute to conservation and engagement across NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service, offering hybrid work with location flexibility.

You will develop strategies, coordinate projects, and engage with public and stakeholders to promote understanding of parks and heritage.

Qualifications

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community engagement strategies, tools and approaches to deliver priority regional and state-wide engagement.
• Use project management tools, CRMs, reporting and evaluation to deliver programs.
• Collaborate with operations and programs colleagues to provide strategic advice, risk management and communication plans.
