Job summary

Planet Pharma in South Australia is seeking a Study Director – Immunoassay (IA) to lead GLP-immunoassay validations and analyses with autonomy, ensuring regulatory compliance and scientific integrity across studies for global clients.

You will mentor the immunoassay team, collaborate with R&D, Operations, QA, and external CROs, and help advance SOPs and continuous improvements to stay aligned with evolving regulatory expectations in a fast‑paced bioanalytical environment.

Qualifications

• Education in Life Sciences or related field.
• 5+ years in regulated bioanalysis.
• Direct experience as Study Director in GLP environment.
• Experience with immunoassay development.
• Familiarity with LIMS, preferably Watson LIMS.
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead GLP studies as primary Study Director or PI, ensuring timelines and compliance.
• Communicate project status with external clients and CROs.
• Provide line management, training and mentoring to the immunoassay team.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Lead Analysts and QA to ensure smooth transitions.
• Contribute to SOPs and continuous improvement to meet regulatory expectations.
