Job summary

AMSANT is seeking an Immunisation Coordinator to lead the Vaccination Uptake Support Program across the Northern Territory, working with ACCHOs to strengthen vaccination uptake. The role focuses on leadership, policy guidance, and collaborative delivery with Aboriginal communities.

You will manage workforce development, provide expert advice to ACCHOs, and build partnerships with NACCHO, NT Health, and AMSANT members while ensuring program reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

  • AHPRA registr ation with immunisation qualifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Knowledge of co-design and co-decision making principles.
  • Experience using clinical data for quality improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Vaccination Uptake Support Program across the Northern Territory.
  • Coordinate immunisation workforce development and education for ACCHO staff.
  • Provide expert advice to ACCHOs on barriers to vaccination and cold chain management.
  • Develop partnerships with NACCHO, NT Health, AMSANT members, and stakeholders.
  • Represent AMSANT on immunisation networks and Communities of Practice.
  • Monitor program performance and report progress against funding.
