AMSANT in Darwin is seeking an Immunisation Coordinator to lead the Vaccination Uptake Support Program across the Northern Territory. You will drive program delivery, support ACCHO clinical staff, and build partnerships with key health bodies to strengthen culturally safe immunisation services.

The role focuses on leadership, collaboration, and ongoing QA across communities, with travel across the NT and interstate as required.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registered clinician with significant primary health care delivery experience and immunisation qualifications.
• Ability to communicate sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
• Capacity for policy development and continuous quality improvement.
• Experience with co-design and co-decision-making principles.

Responsabilités

• Lead implementation of the Vaccination Uptake Support Program across the Northern Territory, collaborating with AMSANT members to improve vaccination uptake.
• Coordinate education, training, and upskilling opportunities for ACCHO clinical staff.
• Provide expert advice and QA support to ACCHOs on barriers and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop partnerships with NACCHO, NT Health and other stakeholders to strengthen immunisation services.
• Represent AMSANT on immunisation networks and monitor program performance.
• Maintain activity workplans, collect data, and prepare progress reports.
