Job description

Are you ready to get the Easygo Edge? The Identity Engineer will help build - not just run - a new identity platform that every person and system at Easygo authenticates through.

What You’ll Build With Us

It’s a greenfield project: standing up a modern cloud identity platform, and operationalising it. The foundation is only the start and we have so much more to build on top of that.

Alongside delivery, you'll grow into an identity subject‑matter expert — partnering with engineering and product teams so they can build fast without having to worry about identity, making secure authentication, authorisation the easy path.

Success requires strong hands‑on identity engineering skill, a collaborative and proactive mindset, clear communication, and the ability to balance reliable day‑to‑day operations with continuous improvement in a fast‑moving environment.

This is a full‑time opportunity at our Melbourne office. You’ll work right where it all happens, surrounded by our fearless crew shipping high‑impact work.

Who is Easygo?

We’re a high‑growth, high‑velocity tech company with millions of eyeballs on us every day. We’re building the future of fearless tech. We’re the creators behind some of the most popular brands including Stake, KICK and Easygo Games. While they command a fierce global following, our crew is employed directly by Easygo and that’s where the real fun happens.

We’re always looking for people who are hungry, humble and move fast. People who are ready to Unify, Disrupt and Evolve with us. With us you’ll grow faster and go further. Your work has impact. And that gives you an edge you can’t get anywhere else.

The Impact You’ll Make
  • Build and administer the workforce identity platform, including sign‑on and MFA policies, applications, groups and connectors — across multiple environments and entities.
  • Configure and maintain authentication and authorisation: SSO (SAML, OIDC/OAuth 2.0), adaptive/conditional access, MFA enrolment and recovery, and session policy.
  • Engineer and support identity governance (IGA) capability as it matures, including access requests, approvals, time‑bound and privileged access, and periodic recertification.
  • Own and improve the IaC (configuration as code) (e.g. Terraform) to make changes reviewable, repeatable and promotable across environments.
  • Automate recurring identity operations to reduce manual effort and handoffs, tracking that reduction as a measure of impact.
  • Design and tune risk‑based authentication: use various signals to challenge or block risky sign‑ins in real time to drive detections and automated response.
  • Act as a go‑to identity subject‑matter expert and escalation point for IDAM across the business, including platform risks, cross‑system issues and incidents, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are documented and implemented.
Essential
Your track record
  • 4+ years’ hands‑on identity and access engineering in a mid‑to‑large or fast‑growing organisation, owning an enterprise IdP end‑to‑end and experience in identity migration projects.
  • Strong practical experience with a workforce IdP (PingOne highly regarded; equivalent enterprise IdP experience such as Okta, ForgeRock or similar is transferable).
  • Experience treating identity as code — Terraform or similar IaC, version control, and CI/CD‑style change management.
  • Experience with AI coding and agent tools such as Claude, Cursor or Copilot as part of daily engineering.
Bonus Points If You Also Have
  • Experience with implementing PAM solutions on an enterprise level is highly desirable.
  • Understands common identity architecture patterns (identity‑aware proxy, service‑to‑service authentication, token exchange and delegation, federation)
  • Exposure to security of AI agents: delegated (on‑behalf‑of) access, scoped and short‑lived credentials, MCP server authorisation, prompt‑injection risks, and keeping humans in the loop for high‑impact actions
  • Background in a technology, gaming or high‑growth environment operating across multiple regions.
