About the Role

We are seeking an Identity & Access Engineer to join our client’s growing security and infrastructure team. This role is critical in ensuring secure, seamless, and scalable identity management across both cloud and hybrid environments. You will be responsible for implementing and supporting identity governance and administration capabilities that protect users, data, and systems while enabling frictionless access.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management (IAM) solutions across cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
• Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) and Conditional Access policies within Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
• Support user lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, and role‑based access.
• Administer and optimize Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and conduct access reviews.
• Troubleshoot IAM issues and provide technical expertise in identity‑related escalations.
• Implement and manage SCIM provisioning and Just‑In‑Time (JIT) provisioning for modern identity workflows.
• Develop and enforce security standards aligned with Zero Trust principles.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to align identity services with organizational needs.
• Stay up to date with industry developments in identity, authentication, and access management.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong practical experience in cloud identity management (Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD).
• Hands‑on experience with:
  • SSO setup and configuration.
  • Conditional Access policy implementation.
  • Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
  • Access Reviews and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in user lifecycle management processes.
• Solid knowledge of SCIM and JIT provisioning.
• Demonstrated experience with hybrid identity management (on‑premises Active Directory integration with Entra ID).
• Familiarity with Zero Trust frameworks.
• Awareness of passwordless authentication methods.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other IAM tools (Okta, Ping, SailPoint, etc.).
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python) for automation.
• Security certifications (e.g., Microsoft Identity & Access Administrator, CISSP, or equivalent)
