Job summary

Central Coast Local Health District is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to join the ICU team at Gosford Hospital. You will lead clinical education, mentor staff and drive competency assessment to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA Registered Nurse (Division 1) registration, ICU experience, and postgraduate qualifications in critical care or education. The role offers flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and a current driver’s licence.
Recent advanced-level ICU/Critical Care experience with strong clinical expertise.
Postgraduate qualifications in critical care, clinical nursing, education or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in clinical education, assessment and mentoring.
Strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver engaging clinical education, training and competency assessment.
Mentor and support nurses to build confidence, capability and clinical excellence.
Collaborate with the ICU team to identify learning needs and strengthen workforce development.
Champion best practice through clinical leadership, innovation and a culture of continuous learning.
