Job summary

Healthscope is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the ICU/Cardiology team in NSW. The role offers permanent part-time work with casual options and a rotating roster to suit flexible scheduling.

You will care for patients across cardiology and intensive care units, delivering safe, evidence-based nursing and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and complex care needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent.
Current Registration with AHPRA (no restriction).
Have completed a new graduate year.
Post Graduate Certificate in Cardiac or ICU (or working towards).
Clinical experience in an ICU or cardiology environment.
Current Advanced Life Support (or willing to obtain).
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care.
Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care.
Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs.
Act as a role model for Safe Practice.
Supervise, direct and support nursing team members.
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs.
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; ENs and AINs to deliver patient care.
