Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking an experienced ICT procurement and contract management professional to enhance strategic focus, ensure probity, and deliver high‑quality advisory services across the ICT lifecycle.

You will lead planning, conduct RFQ/ITO processes through QTenders, and draft contracts under QITC and related frameworks while maintaining up‑to‑date data and reporting for leadership. Collaboration with the Director and senior stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing procurement and contract management in the public sector ICT context.
• Ability to develop options and strategies for ICT procurement and contract management issues of moderate complexity.
• Experience building and maintaining stakeholder relationships to support procurement functions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills for advising senior management and clients.

• Deliver ICT procurement and contract management services with high quality advice.
• Plan and execute procurement and contract management activities.
• Release RFQ/ITO processes through QTenders and support contract drafting using QITC frameworks.
• Maintain procurement and contract data in core systems and provide reporting.
